KS Service Center gives attention to sustainability and the global goals.
Together energy conscious
Through solar collectors on the roofs of our buildings, we generate as much of our own energy consumption as possible. We encourage our employees to drive electric and our parking lot has several charging stations. In addition, our slit strip steel is used for various solar projects around the world. In this way we are working energy-consciously towards a sustainable world.
Sustainable purchasing
We like to purchase from organizations that have designed their products and processes in such a way that they contribute as much as possible to sustainability.
Steel
Think of CO2-neutral produced steel or steel types that provide long-term surface protection against wear and tear in the most demanding environments, such as Zinc Magnesium,

Wood
The wood that KS Service Center uses for transportation is critically purchased. We do this from suppliers that only process wood from sustainably managed forests and are PEFC certified. Our slit strip steel, for example, is also used for sustainable projects such as solar and agrofood.
Preventing damage
To protect the produced strip from dust, we wrap the lumber with foil. Our customers like this because it prevents wood residue from sticking to the steel. In fact, this prevents damage in their own production process. Less damage means less waste.
